Creepy Crawly...

The girls are crawling EVERYWHERE. They have found that hanging out under stuff is fun...the dinning room table is a big hit. They also like to crawl under chairs...heck they even try to crawl under each other, which is quite amusing. One of our dogs, Diablo, is beginning to warm up to the girls...he is getting more tolerable with them grabbing his legs and feet...on occasion I have caught him trying to actually play with them...he grabs one of his stinky nasty toys and puts it in the girls face trying to get them to grab it...once they try to grab it he wanks it away and then back to shoving it in their face...the girls just laugh and giggle the entire time its pretty funny. Now onto the pictures...enjoy.

They eat everything...unless its food.

Why is it that when the food comes out the girls don't seem very interested with it...but as soon as you set them on the ground they are pulling up the corners of the rugs to eat them, or eating each others hands and feet, or eating the dogs, or eating EVERY toy in sight...I don't get it. Kids...fun times...enjoy the picture and video...
-
Looks like Diablo's eye is about to bulge out...Jade was yanking on his ear...and he was actually loving it.

Shrieks...

Ok life is going along nice and sweet...babies begin to coo, awww cute...babies begin to babble, awww cute...babies start to mutter certain words, awww cute...babies learn how to "scream/shriek", awww shucks. Well so far Phoenix is the only who has figured it out but she LOVES to do it now. Its not a sad scream or a mad scream...its a "HELLO I'M OVER HERE" scream. Ear piercing blood curdling shriek...you know the one...the one only little girls can perform. I had a little sister, who of course I tormented for many years, so I know "the" shriek that demands your attention and this is it. At first you check to see if she is hurt or in need of something but then you realize every time she does it she is soooo proud of herself. Then she does it again to see if she can get it louder, which of course she is always successful...she isn't at an age of understanding yet that when I say "stop" she stops...not like that day will ever come...kids are born to defy their parents aren't they, once again trust me I was one of them...I definitely gave my parents a run for their money...so I guess its payback time and it starts with a scream. Here are a couple pictures...ENJOY.

All I saw was feet and talking...it was Jade.

Nix was hanging out under the bouncer...fun times or at least she thought so.

Boss Child...

Some days I feel like my boss is one big baby then I realize they are...all of them...its just like every job I have ever had...when they don't get their way they whine and cry about it until you do something to fix the situation. The only thing that I have going for me with this job is that these boss' are growing up and learning everyday rather than the normal path of all my other jobs where they seem to revert to childlike behaviors...its rather sad that this is the case in most jobs...no I'm not saying every boss acts childish but in every case I have noticed, they do. I am wondering if that is normal criteria in becoming a boss...oh well...I'm just glad I do what I do. Enjoy a few short videos...

Pull ups...not the diapers.

Wow time FLIES by...it seems like just a week or two ago that all three started crawling...wait...it was only a few weeks ago...why so fast. Now Phoenix is pulling herself up onto things...there was an empty bouncer and all of a sudden I look over to see nix laying in it...I had just taken her out and sat her on the floor obviously she didn't want to be out of it...well I took her out again and I look over to see her trying to get into Jade's bouncer with her...it was very cute...Enjoy some pictures.

Phase three...Operation Doc Band

What a slow process...nothing like watching the paint dry...added another skull and then added her name...one more phase to go I think. You may be asking yourself why it is taking me so long to do this...well time is limited...she needs to be wearing it as much as possible...plus it needs a lot of coats of each color plus a lot of coats of the shiny protective finish coat...oh on top of the dry time I am a perfectionist and since I have to look at it each day I better do it right the first time...anyways here you go...ENJOY
-
Added her name plus the skull on the side...

Added another skull...skulls are girly right?

Backyard Nature...Deer Poo

Almost on a daily basis we get the privileged of seeing deer...not just one or two but they come as a group of about 5-8 deer...the most I have ever seen together was 12. They come right up to the fence along our backyard...our house actually backs right up to a forest preserve so we get a lot of privacy. I can't wait until the girls get a little bit older and begin to enjoy the view of the wildlife that comes right up to our back door...here are a few pictures of our view...enjoy.
-
Standing on my porch...yes I like to sit and watch the deer.

So peaceful...there were 7 deer at the time of this photo...its crazy.

While sitting out on the deck you learn things about deer, like the fact that deer squat when they poo...who knew? (Yes I caught a deer pooing in this pic...it made me giggle...yes giggle...no laugh...just giggle...its ok men, can giggle...I think...so yeah ummm...)
-
If a deer poos in the woods and nobody is there...does it make a noise?

Doc Band...

Some people have noticed, either through pictures or in person, that Rogue's head is not round but very square shaped...good news bad news then good news again. Good news, there is something to fix it and help make it round...its called a Doc band created by "Cranial Technologies". Bad news, insurance doesn't cover the price of it...so it is all out of pocket. Good news, we have family who were able help with this process financially. So in the end all Rogue now has a very fancy and expensive helmet...she will be wearing the helmet for the next 3-6 months...we decided its better for her to crawl around with a helmet now rather than run around the rest of her life with a square head...in the pictures below you will see what her helmet looks like. This is going to be sort of a process for us to deal with so to help ease some of the nuisance of seeing this big ol' helmet for the next 3-6 months I will get the opportunity to get a little creative and do some painting on it...some of the rules with the doc band is that she has to wear it all the time except for 2 hours a day. She will have to learn to sleep in it and adjust to everyday life with it on...it will be a process for her and an adjustment for ourselves...now we have another unique feature added to our family and people ALWAYS feel they have a right to now about "our" unique situation...well now we will not only have to field the triplet questions but also the helmet questions...yippee...oh well it is a "new" part of life...here we go feet first. Sorry I think I sounded a little harsh there...ummm yeah sorry. Oh well now for the pictures...enjoy.
-
There it is, in all its glory...

Showing off the back...

Crocodile Roll...

Sometimes I have the feeling I live in the amazon...Phoenix has now become one with her wild side. She is almost impossible to hold or change...once on the changing table she begins to giggle and roll...it is VERY frustrating but she knows when your about to lose your biscuits and she stops looks into your eyes and smiles...its short lived because she starts right back up on her rolling. She now does the same thing when you try to feed her or hold her...sooooo much fun. Now for the photos...enjoy.

The Brothers are BACK!!!!

Ok I am going to apologize ahead of time...this post has nothing to do with the girls. I have to say my wait is FINALLY over. I just got home from seeing the sequel to my favorite movie of all time...the movie we just saw is called Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. Thanks to my mother and mother in law they gave me and the wife the opportunity to see the movie with some cousins of mine...not only were we able to go see this movie but we got a little time out, just the two of us. We started off by doing a little Christmas shopping...then headed over to "Steak and Shake". I forgot that they actually make good food...then we headed off to fulfill a 10 year period of waiting. The first movie came out in 1999...created from the mind of a bartender/bouncer in Boston came this genius (in my opinion) piece of worked called "The Boondock Saints". If you like a good action flick with a tad bit of humor put into it then this is the movie for you. I can quote almost the entire movie and I even own three different versions of the movie on dvd and the documentary about the rise and fall of the director/writer...yes they made that many different versions...never heard of this movie? Well not many people have...it was released in 5 theaters back 99' for about one week...it was then stonewalled by every possible avenue to be released...finally it came out on dvd in the US in 2001 from there it spawned a cult following of word of mouth to create a gross of about $50 million in domestic video sales. Due to its popularity there was no question about a sequel other than...When will it happen? It may sound like I am trying to sell everyone on the idea that they should run out and see this film...your right but I will preface that by saying it's not for everyone...for one it is rated "R" it has language and blood...its all in all an action flick to trump all action flicks (again in my opinion). Well I will leave it at that...sorry I just had to say something about my evening. I will try and post something about the girls soon...thanks for listening.

BABY PROOF...

Well its happened...all three are moving with the army crawl and they are quick. Today I ran to the kitchen to start warming their bottles when I heard a crash...listened for a cry and it never came...so I thought it was just a toy they slammed down. When I came back to the family room I saw Rogue halfway inside of the garbage can that she had knocked over...YEAH. It was pretty funny when all I saw was her legs sticking out of the can all covered in the wrappers from the diaper packaging...yeah not thinking I went over and pulled her out...I should have taken a picture. She thought it was fun...Nix was waiting patiently outside waiting for her turn it was pretty funny.
-
We are very lucky with the layout of our main floor...so it has been very easy to baby proof the whole area. The only thing I need to rig up was the entertainment center...it has an open face. So I just ran to the hardware store and bought some Plexiglas and a piano hinge...wham bam we got our self a baby proofed entertainment center. Other than that we got a baby gate and some plug covers...thankfully we have no cords within reach of the girls so we don't have to worry about that.
-
Tried gating off some areas...it didn't last...it blocks the dogs access to the backyard.

Of course we got the plug covers...

My makeshift cover for the entertainment center...

Jade was eating Rogue's hand...its like we don't feed her or something...

She even tried to eat her sisters foot...

Goofy smile after eating feet...

There's the smile I was looking for...thanx Jade.

Time for a Visit...

Well we have been busy busy busy...running from one location to another...well not really. We did get a chance to go visit my dad at his job...last week we made a trip over to his work and we brought the girls along so Grandpa could show off his granddaughters. Then this week we made a stop at my moms job so she could show off her granddaughters...a funny thing happened once we arrived...my mom was busy working (dental hygienist) and it just so happened that her clients in her chair were 5 year old triplets (2 boys and 1 girl). It was kind of funny that the day we plan a visit it just so happened to be the day triplets were in for their checkups. It was fun talking to the other parents and realizing that people do survive triplets, at least until they are 5 years old.
-
We did have one mishap and that pertained to my "wonderful" (sarcasm) laptop. It finally took the final dive into its dark demise. The blue screen of DEATH came up and pretty much said "No use trying to fix me I am done...stick a fork in me." It is sad that I depend on a computer as much as I do. With the kids current stage in life it is still rather difficult for me to go out alone with all three of them...yes it is possible, but I haven't dove into that aspect just yet. So with me being stuck at home so much my only connection to the outside world is through this little 15" screen and 101 keys...so when it officially died I started to freak a little. The laptop died last friday so I had the whole weekend (which is my no wife as backup time) and all I had was my thoughts...not a pretty place to be, trust me. To make a short story long we got a new one. Yeah not very climactic sorry. But, I think we did Dave Ramsey proud...we bought it strictly with spare change...yup you heard me, spare change. I have been collecting spare change in a jar and it was going to help fund my next tattoo...yeah that's gonna have to wait even longer now...oh well, now I can keep my sanity and not feel as trapped so its worth it.
-
My spare change that turned into my new computer...

Christmas TIME!!!! What...Wah....Christmas time?

AHHHHHH!!!! Yeah that's what I thought too...well it has some excitement on our part, it being our girls first Christmas and all...but yeah its still AHHHHH. The Christmas music is playing in stores and they have all their Christmas stuff out...shorts are replaced with jackets...swimsuits replaced with gloves. I woke up yesterday morning to a nice frost on the ground...the crisp air...the leaves on the ground *BABY screams* ahhh (sigh) yes my new life. Since our tree FINALLY decided to lose its leaves I was stuck out side raking the leaves...who knew one tree could drop so many leaves. Since I was outside the wife and I decided to start early. I have officially begun Christmas decorating...yes I know its early but I would rather not freeze myself when putting up the Christmas lights. Finished off the Christmas lights today so we're all set to go...now for the stuff you came to see...here are some pictures of the girls...ENJOY
