Lean on me...

The girls are growing soooooo fast. It seems like just yesterday I was holding a little handful of joy and now it takes two hands and full concentration that they don't squirm right out of my hands. They also get heavy FAST...we went to Walmart this past week to do our grocery shopping and Rogue was not in the mood to shop...she began to cry almost immediately. I had to carry her the entire time we were shopping, of course she was happy when carried...it got old quick when all of your attention is focused on one of three.
-
The girls advancements are coming daily. We have a distinct advantage, with having three, when it comes to milestone markers. When one of them does something we know that the others shouldn't be far behind. We still have slight worries when it comes to the girls advancements...we know that we shouldn't worry (Matthew 6:34, go ahead look it up...its a verse I have grown to love...I even have it tattooed on me) but in the end we do have a few concerns. Jade is still very quiet, until today when she began to interact with her sisters talking...Jade also hasn't rolled over yet but her smiles melt my heart every time she flashes those gums. Rogue has a very even level in advancement when compared to her sisters (she has a very even mix of both Jade and Phoenix). Rogue has begun to smile a lot, which she never did before...she use to be our "partly cloudy" girl...the only thing Rogue does that neither of her sisters do is that she has begun to grab at items in her vicinity...one of the funny things she keeps trying to grab are her feet...she tries to do this by grabbing her pant legs and pulling her legs up towards her face...silly girl. Phoenix has really begun to impress us, not that the others haven't, with everything she has been doing...she smiles a ton and on top of that she has the cutest giggle ever (also the only one too truly giggle in excess)...She also rolls over quite often (from stomach to back). They have ALL found their thumbs which saves a lot of running around trying to find pacifiers laying around the house...we will worry about weening them off of their thumbs later...we just want to survive now. Daily they amaze us with all the interaction they are now achieving between them and us.
-
Well here are a few pictures and a video...hope you ENJOY.

Keep on Rollin'...

Time flies when its givin' in limited quantity. It feels like I just posted yesterday but in reality it was a week ago...there are a few updates to post.
-
Well first off Megan took this past Saturday off so that we could watch UFC 100...for those who don't know what that is, it's a pay per view event of MMA (mixed martial arts) where any and all fighting styles are pitted against each other. I have really gotten interested in it in the last 4 or 5 years and Megan has followed right along with me...she even has favorite fighters so she gets a little emotional over some of the fights. By the way UFC 100 was GREAT...it was fun.

I (Megan) feel the need to mention that Saturday was also my Mother's 60th birthday (Happy Birthday Mom!!!) My sister (along with others) threw my mom a fantastic party and we were able to go, for a short while anyways.....the girls start to get tired and crabby starting at about 4 and like to be in bed by 8:)
-
So we did that Saturday night and then, since Megan was home, we went to church as a family Sunday morning. The girls went to the nursery and did a great job...heck even their mother did good (she didn't even go check on them during the service). It was fun...and a little exhausting.
-
We also have another high roller...Rogue surprised us with a roll over during her nap. She started on her stomach for her nap and then we went up to check on her and there she was kicking her feet in the air laying on her back.
-
Now its picture time....ENJOY.

This is a little vid...this is how they are EVERY night starting at about 5:30pm and ends around 8:30pm...this is for people who think it would be "fun" to have triplets. Not sure why people think it would be fun or easy to have multiples...we seem to get that comment allot from people..."oh I always want to have a set of multiples." I just don't understand. I mean I LOVE my girls with everything I have but by no means would I recommend or even try for this again.

-

On a lighter note...we did get a comment that made us both laugh...kids say the darndest things. We were leaving Walmart a few weeks back and as we were walking up to our van we noticed that the car next to us was loading up her cart with kids...she plops a kid (about a 5 year old) in the front seat of the cart. She saw we had a baby and pointed that out to her mother in a very loud voice...as her mother was trying to hush her, obviously embarrassed. Then out of no where she began to count and ended up at three. She looked at her mom with a quizzical look on her face and said, again in a loud voice, "Mommy they have three babies. How did they do that?" Her mom was so embarrassed and whisked her off to head into the store...it took everything I had not to laugh...both Megan and I held it in until they were out of ear shot. What a fun little comment...Kids.

Until next time...BYE

"Roll Out!!"

We went to the doctors office today for the girls monthly checkup and we finally have some actual news to post...actually a few updates. I will start with the big news...Phoenix rolled over...from stomach to back. Right in the middle of our doctors appointment Nix showed us all her new trick...she arched up her back then flipped over. We were all amazed and a little awe struck. We have been a little worried about Nix's development due to her hands being clinched most of the time...she showed us that we have no need to worry about it or her as she flipped right in the middle of us talking about her. Other updates are that all of them are now arching while on their stomachs and pushing up with their hands while lifting their heads. We got all three of them were laying out on the doctors exam table today and we laid them all on the stomachs to see what they would do...Rogue arches up a lot when at home and we weren't to sure whether the others would do it too. (Check out the pictures)

Trying new routines...stand firm.

Its been a while since updated...sadly its not because of being busy but because of laziness and lack of things to post. The girls are growing like weeds. We will be getting a new weight update on the girls this week but everything is going well. There feeding volume is growing a little bit. I have now begun to install a little bit of a routine in the girls day to day activities. It has been a little trying but we have had some successes with naps and playtime. I just need to make sure I never give up or give in when they don't want to nap...they need to nap sooooo bad. This past weekend was again another weekend completely on my own. There was only one bad night (Friday night) but the others went by like clockwork. The girls are getting better at sleeping longer through the night...still have to get up a couple times each night but nothing to drastic.
-
This past 4th of July was a very sad one for me...I love fire, I like stuff that blows up, I love shooting off fireworks...but when duty calls (girls) I have to full fill my end of the deal. I could hear them all around my house and I could occasionally see them through the front window. There were a few LOUD booms from neighbors fireworks and it didn't seem to faze the girls at all, which to me is a good thing. I like BIG booms...
-
Sorry not a whole lot to post so here are the pictures...ENJOY.
-
Jade starting it all off with a smile...
