Tough Mudder 2012

I might have been a little whacked in the head when I thought this would be a good idea...it is a 12 mile 21 obstacle coarse race. Designed for military training offered to civilians crazy enough to take it on. I did this with 8 other people as a group. We finished in just under four hours...One thing I didn't plan was the fact that my first rugby game of the season was the day before, we won the ga,e then conquered the Mudder.

-

This was the map of the coarse...looks like fun, huh? Who's doing it with me next year...

Here is part of the group...the three guys are from my rugby team...

The whole group...let's get muddy...

Running? Who said anything about running? 12 miles? Uhhhh...

Time to get dirty...

CANONBALL!!!

All the way under...defiantly not thought through completely.

Me trying to figure out how to wipe my eyes...uhhhh

8' high wall...two of them then later on in the coarse there were two more but they were 10' high...

This was pretty bad...giant tank of ice water...Half way through it you need to dunk under a wall...brrrrrrr

Up up and away we go...

What goes up must come DOWN!!!

This was the worst obstacle of the entire coarse...at least what parts of it I remember.

Crawling through looks bad, yes, but what you may not notice is little wires hanging down from the metal wire...each one is electrified...yes they hurt...they ranged all the way up to 10,000 volts...

This is where it all went bad...notice the limited ripples around me? Yup I blacked out...thankfully my body continued to work...

I came too just a little further down towards the end than this pictures represents...it was a very weird feeling...

I was toast and fell shortly after this picture was taken...

Completed...finally...

Until Next Time...BYE
