We have officially bridged the gap into the real world. Yesterday we made our first excursion out into the "real" world with the three girls. We took a trip to Walmart and shopped. We actually had a decent time. It didn't add any time to our normal grocery shopping trips. We only had two comments from people, that we actually hear. We did get a lot of people tripping over themselves and people running into stuff...it kept us entertained for sure. Megan took Phoenix and I took Rogue and Jade in my cart...one in the main basket and one up by the handle. It took us about 1 hour 30 Minutes and everything went VERY smooth. It took us a total of three carts once we made our way out to the van.
Once we arrived home we had two ladies from our church stop by to see the girls and pray for us and them. Then that evening my in laws stopped by to attempt to get some pictures of the girls...it is hard to get all three girls to be happy all at the same time. Once they left it was about 5:30pm. So from about 9:30am we were busy running around or having people over....definitely and exhausting day.
Today was pretty laid back day...Megan got to take a nap after the 8am feeding...her previous two feedings were pretty rough. She was baptised by Phoenix at the 8pm and the 4am feedings. So she needed the nap.
Today we did get the opportunity for the five of us to head up to Wisconsin to visit with my Great Aunt and Great Uncle. They live in an assisted living facility up there and they were very happy to see the girls. My mom went along with us too make it easier to move around with all three girls.
I was holding the pacifier in my mouth and she began to huff so I gave it to her...

Today we had a Doctors appointment and everything is looking GREAT. Rogue and Phoenix have now made it onto the growth chart...they are marked at the 5% spot for weight and height. With their adjusted age (1 month) they are in the 55% for weight and height. Jade isn't giving up and is quickly catching up to her sisters....here is the breakdown.
Rogue: 9lbs 6oz / 21 inch
Jade: 8lbs 9oz / 21 1/2 inch
Phoenix: 9lbs 5oz / 21 1/2 inch
One funny thing happened during our appointment, when our doctor ran off to get her camera during our visit. Jade was showing off her new "trick" that I have been working on with her. Jade was the last one so I sat her on the edge of the exam table and she dangled her legs off the edge and sat up straight just looking around with ease. She looked just like a little person...our doctor thought it was so cute and ran off to grab her camera and took a picture of her. The doctor was VERY impressed with how much control and strength she had...our little lady is coming along.
Quick side note....Uncle Nate was finally baptised (puked on) by Phoenix. Yeah he wasn't very excited about it at all...all he could say is "This is GROSS". Yes it is....especially since it was formula. All my sister and I could do was laugh...yes he is a good sport and once he was cleaned up he too laughed about it...and no he didn't finish the feeding...he was still a little grossed out...understandable.

BIG NEWS they now sleep at night....errr sort of. They go to bed between 10-11pm and usually they wake up around 3-4am. Every little step is a BIG step in our eyes. The silence is sort of deafening since we haven't had it for months.
This weekend will be a VERY long and interesting one for sure...I will be alone until Sunday. My sister is coming in on Sunday and stay the night but I am on my own till then...not worried about the girls...I am just worried I may not come out in one piece. There's only one way to find out...dive in head first. Well enjoy the new pics...

Caleb enjoying the red dot...the vid is long but in my opinion very funny.
Until next time...BYE.
Well there hasn't been a whole lot going on in our lives lately. The girls have now begun to coo...it makes for some very funny awake times. We do go for walks as often as possible, weather permitted. The looks are still coming from people but hey we are getting use to it.
When they poop they TRUELY poop. It seems to happen once every 2-4 days so when it happens they make sure you know it. Today on our walk 2 of them decided to poop once we were the furthest from the house. Oh, the joy...if the crying babies weren't enough we were down wind the whole way back home. We need to remember to bring diapers with us on walks. After that walk home changing them in the grass sounds pretty good to me.
I know I talk alot about their poop...but hey babies eat, sleep, and poop...not a whole lot too them. Well now for the pictures....Enjoy.
This is how we sit all day long during awake time. Jade, Rogue, and Phoenix...Nix was a little cheesed off...she was still hungry.

Once we found out we were having triplets we began to stock pile as much baby stuff as we could get our hands on...little did we know how quickly it begins to overtake your life and domicile. Soon, our once large basement became a VERY large storage room. It became clear that storage was needed sooner than later. We had a friend/carpenter come in and build a storage room for us. It is now finally completed and have already stocked it completely full. We made part of it a pantry and another spot for my obsession of movies.
Well this week has been sort of a laid back week with very limited visitors. Its been kind of nice to just sit back and relax. I was also able to get some stuff done around the house and Megan was able to spend a lot of quality baby time. I was able to trench out drainage for my down spouts and I also set up shelves in the pantry. Life has been slow moving...in the regard to getting actual house work done. The yard is in a shambles...the spots I missed while doing my night time mowing are now knee high...the weeds are beginning to eat away at the true life of my lawn...the dead spots with no grass seem to be getting bigger. So I guess what I am saying is I need to spend a day outside showing my yard some tender love and care. We do have one success story in regards to the yard...we have landscaping...my mom and mother in law bought some bushes to put around the front of the house and they are all officially in the ground and it is looking good. 2 years after we bought this house and we finally have landscaping...
We have now begun to have visitors (Flu season is over, well except H1N1). Seeing as how the girls won't be leaving the house too often people have begun to filter into our house and visit the girls. If you are interested in coming to hold a baby or help out with something...just give us a call or drop us an email (We check it once a day at least). A little heads up will help us prepare to have visitors. Again we ask that if you or someone in your house is sick than please don't visit the girls...they are still very susceptible to sicknesses. We hope to see you all sometime...
P.S. People have been asking us if we need anything...surprisingly we need TONS of "D" batteries. They live in their swings and bouncers...which take "D" batteries. Thanx and until next time...BYE

Still don't get how this is comfortable. (Rogue)
